ARA-------------------------Although District Magistrate Tanay Sultania’s tenure in Bhojpur district—where he carved a distinct niche for himself in administrative management and public welfare—lasted less than two years, he left an indelible mark through his work style. For Tanay Sultania, who assumed the role of District Magistrate in September 2025, this was his first posting as a DM in the administrative service. During his short tenure, he not only established an image of integrity but also garnered widespread popularity among the district's citizens due to his conscientious work ethic and affable nature.

From an administrative perspective, Tanay Sultania’s tenure was marked by challenges and people-centric decisions. Transparency and a priority for swift problem-solving were clearly evident in his approach, which accelerated administrative operations in the district. Now, in accordance with state government directives, he has been transferred to the post of District Magistrate of Sitamarhi. Following his departure, the reins of administrative leadership in the district will pass into new hands.

According to available information, Manesh Meena will now assume charge as the new District Magistrate of Bhojpur. Manesh Meena is a 2015-batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre and hails from a highly educated background. Holding an M.Tech degree, Mr. Meena possesses extensive administrative experience. Prior to this, he had been serving as the Director of the Mining Department for the Government of Bihar since December 14, 2025. Prior to this, he has successfully served in key positions such as District Magistrate and Assistant Secretary at various stages of his career.

There is considerable buzz in the administrative circles of Bhojpur regarding Manesh Meena's arrival. Speculation suggests he will assume office within the next two days, although official confirmation is awaited. The new District Magistrate's experience will undoubtedly prove beneficial in maintaining administrative continuity and driving the district's development initiatives.
