ARA------------------------------To ensure the success of the historic Raj Bhavan march organized today under the leadership of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National Working President and Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, around 500 RJD workers departed for Patna from the Jagdishpur assembly constituency, led by former MLA Bhai Dinesh.
A large number of RJD workers set off for Patna by train from Piro, Bihiya, and Ara railway stations, carrying the national flag and party banners. Great enthusiasm and zeal were evident among the workers. They pledged to raise their voices regarding issues concerning social justice, democracy, education, health, employment, and the rights of farmers and the poor.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhai Dinesh stated that the Raj Bhavan march would be a historic event that strengthens the struggle for the people's issues and rights. He alleged that the current government is taking repressive action against youth and students instead of resolving their problems. He also accused the government of using bulldozers on the homes of the poor and ignoring public grievances.
Bhai Dinesh remarked that the state's education, health, and irrigation systems are in a shambles. Incidents such as murder, robbery, and kidnapping have created an atmosphere of fear among the general public, raising serious questions about the government's handling of law and order.
He also raised the issue of fertilizer shortages faced by farmers. According to Bhai Dinesh, fertilizers like Urea and DAP are being sold at exorbitant prices, further burdening farmers who are already grappling with inflation and high agricultural costs. He demanded that the government curb the black marketing of fertilizers and ensure their availability to farmers at reasonable prices.
Bhai Dinesh asserted that the Raj Bhavan march would serve to powerfully convey the people's voice to the government and intensify the struggle for social justice, democracy, and public interest issues.
Those who departed for Patna included Umashankar Singh, Hirdayanand Singh, Gorakh Singh, Nayak Singh, Lal Bahadur Singh, Kiran Singh, Ajay Yadav, Birbal Paswan, Rajeshwar Paswan, Harendra Singh, and Md.
