SASARAM-------------------------Late last night, criminals shot and killed a young man in Babhangaon village, located within the jurisdiction of the Darigaon police station in Rohtas district, spreading panic throughout the area. The deceased has been identified as Dipu Shah, a resident of Karpurwa (Sasaram). It is reported that he had returned home from jail just a few days prior. Various speculations are circulating regarding the motives behind the incident. Upon receiving news of the crime, Rohtas Superintendent of Police, Roshan Kumar, rushed to the scene to assess the situation. The police have cordoned off the crime scene and have initiated an investigation. As of now, the exact motive behind the murder remains undisclosed. The police are questioning locals in the vicinity, and continuous raids are being conducted to apprehend the culprits.

The police have intensified their efforts regarding the high-profile murder that took place last night in Babhangaon village. So far, five suspects have been taken into custody and are currently being interrogated in connection with this case. The deceased has been identified as Dipu Shah, a resident of Karpurwa (Sasaram). During the investigation, it came to light that the deceased was also implicated in the Saroj Paswan murder case, which occurred in 2024; consequently, the current incident is being viewed as a possible act of mutual vendetta. A police team, led by Superintendent of Police Roshan Kumar, is conducting continuous raids. The police have stated that the case will be solved shortly. Meanwhile, police presence and vigilance have been heightened across the entire region, and a thorough investigation into the matter is ongoing.
