ARA-------------------------A deeply tragic incident has come to light from Majhauwa village (Afimi Kothi) under the Town Police Station area of ​​Ara city, Bhojpur district. The discovery of the body of 18-year-old Amrita Kumari, found hanging from a noose inside her home, has sent shockwaves through the entire area. The incident has left the family devastated, and a pall of gloom has descended upon the village.

The deceased has been identified as Amrita Kumari (18), daughter of Kamal Singh, a resident of Majhauwa village. According to her family, Amrita had been suffering from severe mental stress for some time. Her mother, Aarti Devi, had passed away from liver cancer about a year ago. The family had barely recovered from this grief when another major shock struck: her brother was critically injured in a road accident just a few days ago. These successive family tragedies had taken a heavy toll on Amrita's mental well-being.

Family members stated that late Thursday evening, Amrita went into her room and locked the door from the inside. When she did not emerge for a long time, the family grew concerned. Upon opening the door, they found her hanging from the ceiling fan. They immediately informed the police.

Upon receiving the information, the Town Police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and completed the necessary legal formalities. The body was subsequently sent to Ara Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Confirming the incident, Town Police Station House Officer (SHO) Devraj Rai stated that a case regarding the death of a young woman in Majhauwa village has come to light. The police have had the post-mortem conducted. As of now, no written complaint has been received from the family; further legal action will be taken in accordance with the rules once a complaint is filed.
