ARA--------------------------RJD MP Manoj Jha has criticized the handling of the Bharat Tiwari encounter case in Bhojpur. He stated that an encounter is never merely about an individual; rather, it is a confrontation with the truth.
Manoj Jha remarked, "The reality of an encounter is that it is fundamentally a clash with the truth. I have observed the entire sequence of events. Encounters are staged to cover up the truth; they are conducted to boost statistics and earn praise."
"Even if the person involved is a declared criminal, what should your objective be? To get to the root of the crime, examine the entire network, and try to reach their accomplices. Yet, when you stage an encounter, you effectively cover all of that up." – Manoj Jha, Rajya Sabha MP, RJD
RJD MP Manoj Jha launched a scathing attack on the Samrat government; citing various criminal incidents, he stated clearly that crime in Bihar is not abating. He accused Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary of merely engaging in theatrics. He asserted that the poor, the Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs), Dalits, and the business community are all facing constant atrocities.
"Bihar has been given a criminal architecture" – Manoj Jha: He further noted that while criminal incidents continue to occur, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary offers no response. He also took a sharp dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking why he remains silent on this issue. He recalled how the PM used to comment on law and order in Bihar even when there was no data to back it up, noting that boastfulness is in his nature. He argued that PM Modi's silence indicates he has saddled Bihar with a "criminal architecture," implying the entire government structure is criminal in nature.
"This government is mired in occult practices, machinations, and conspiracies. Yet, the mandate was for Nitish Kumar. Was the election fought in Samrat Chaudhary's name? He does not have the mandate. Whether the encounter involves 'A', 'B', or 'C', it is our party worker who gets hurt." – Manoj Jha, Rajya Sabha MP, RJD
