ARA--------------------------In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening the quality of primary education, a two-day training program for teachers under the NIPUN Bharat mission concluded on Wednesday in the Piro block. The training was held in the auditorium of the Plus Two High School, located at the Piro subdivisional headquarters, where teachers from various schools across the block participated with great enthusiasm. The training sessions were conducted under the supervision of Master Trainers Bhaskar Kumar and Dipti Sharma. Addressing the training session, Block Education Officer Manoj Singh stated that the objective of the NIPUN Bharat program is to equip children in the early grades with proficiency in the fundamentals of language and mathematics. He emphasized that this training is not merely a formality, but rather a crucial opportunity to bring about a transformation in teaching methodologies. He urged all teachers to take this initiative seriously and to effectively implement the new techniques and insights acquired during the program within their classrooms. During the training, teachers are being introduced to activity-based learning, innovative approaches to language development, and practical strategies for making mathematics both simple and engaging. Additionally, discussions are being held on strategies to assess children's learning levels and devise methods to enhance their academic performance.
It is anticipated that this initiative will lead to a significant improvement in the quality of primary education and will serve to strengthen children's foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
