BUXAR-------------------------The Education Department has banned government teachers from conducting private tuition or coaching classes and has issued a new order to this effect. The order stipulates that strict disciplinary action will be taken against any violation of these rules. The department has issued a clear warning to all teachers.

Buxar Education News (Ashutosh Kumar Singh): The Education Department in Bihar is preparing to tighten its oversight of all government teachers. A new order has been issued to improve the education system in government schools, with the aim of ensuring that all children receive quality education within the government school system itself. Measures are being taken to fix accountability for teachers in this regard. In line with this, the Director of Secondary Education, Sajjan R., has issued a directive. The letter clearly instructs all District Education Officers that no government teacher is permitted to conduct coaching or private tuition. This rule applies both within and outside school premises.

If a teacher is found conducting private tuition or coaching classes, it will be considered a violation of the order, and strict disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned teacher.

The department holds the view that coaching and tuition activities adversely affect regular school instruction, as teachers are unable to devote sufficient time to their students. This impacts the quality of education in government schools.

The letter notes that a large number of teachers have been recruited in recent years, with adequate staffing provided in schools through the Bihar Public Service Commission. It is now the responsibility of teachers to teach with utmost sincerity in their schools and focus on the holistic development of the children.

The department is also providing periodic training to teachers to enhance their teaching quality, with an emphasis on adopting new techniques and methodologies.

District Education Officers have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with this order, and all schools will be monitored.
