ARA-----------------------------The three pistols used in the high-profile encounter of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari—which took place on June 17 in Bilauti village under the Shahpur police station area of Bhojpur district, Bihar—have been seized. They will undergo forensic examination. Following court authorization, the three seized pistols, along with spent cartridges recovered from the scene and other evidentiary items, have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Patna. The forensic analysis aims to determine which specific weapons fired the recovered cartridges and bullets. Additionally, a ballistic match between the pistols and the cartridges will be conducted.
The seized weapons include the service pistol of the then Station House Officer (SHO), the service pistol of an STF (Special Task Force) personnel, and the pistol belonging to one of the accused.
