ARA-------------------------The rules for obtaining caste, income, and residence certificates in Bihar have changed starting today!

The Bihar government has updated the documentation requirements for caste, income, and residence certificates on the RTPS portal. Applicants'/parents' revenue records (khatian, donation certificate, land documents), salary slips, and ITRs are now mandatory. Those who lack these revenue records will need to request a site inspection. If any documents are unavailable, an application must be submitted to the local authority. An officer will come and verify the certificate and upload it there. Only then will a certificate be issued. This change is reportedly aimed at preventing fraudulent certificates in Bihar and preventing outside candidates from fraudulently applying for Bihar jobs.
