SPECIAL MEETIGN OF THE BANKERS’ COMMITTEE HELD

ARA----------------------------A special meeting of the District Level Bankers' Committee was held on Friday in the auditorium of the District Lead Bank Manager's office at Pir Baba Mod in the city. This meeting was held as per the directives of the SLBC. During the meeting, the progress of various government-run schemes was discussed. The Senior Deputy Collector also inquired about the progress related to loan approvals and disbursements under the PMFME and PMEGP schemes. Presiding over the meeting, Senior Deputy Collector Banking, Mrs. Hina, said that a camp for the PMFME and PMEGP schemes is scheduled for March 12th. Before this camp, all banks should ensure loan approvals and disbursements as per their assigned targets. The SDC stated that special attention needs to be paid to ACP. Expressing concern over CD ratios, he urged bankers to work systematically to increase CD ratios. District Lead Bank Manager Neeraj Kumar called for a focus on KCC and increasing CD ratios. Said that bankers should pay attention to improving CD ratios, expected progress in CD ratios is necessary, and this is possible only when all of you work in this direction. At the same time RBI LDO stressed on getting def account and re-KYC done. He said that camps should be organised for def account and re-KYC at branch level.
