RATH YATRA IN KAIMUR

BHABHUA------------------------The well-decorated Rath Yatra of Lord Shri Jagannath, Balbhadra and Mata Subhadra was taken out from the Purba Mandir located at Ramlila Maidan under Kudra Nagar Panchayat of the district after formal worship. Temple priests Balak Das and Kamlesh Tiwari completed the puja with Vedic chanting, after which the Rath Yatra left for the city tour.

Women, men, youth and children participated with full enthusiasm in the Rath Yatra. Devotees kept praising God while singing bhajans and kirtans. The procession again reached Ramlila Maidan from Ramlila Maidan via Kudra Bazaar, Masjid Marg and Bhabhua Mor. At various places on the Yatra route, devotees visited the Lord and showered flowers and offered prayers and good wishes.

Extensive security arrangements were made during the Rath Yatra. Block Development Officer, Circle Officer, Executive Officer of Nagar Panchayat, Police Station President and a large number of police forces were deployed on the entire route. Administrative officials kept the yatra under constant vigil and conducted it in a peaceful and orderly manner.

The organizing committee said that like every year, this time too the Rath Yatra was organized according to traditional customs. A large number of devotees participated from the city as well as from the surrounding villages. There was a festive atmosphere in the entire city and people prayed to Lord Shri Jagannath for happiness, peace, prosperity and prosperity in the area.
