The entire family was left in shock when the victim returned home and recounted the ordeal to her mother and other relatives. Upon receiving the complaint, the City Police immediately swung into action and launched a search operation to apprehend the accused. City Station House Officer (SHO) Manoj Singh informed the media that the accused was arrested within a few hours of the incident being reported; he has been remanded to judicial custody, and a thorough investigation into the matter is underway.
