Acting on a tip-off, Karnamepur Station House Officer (SHO) Kanhaiya Kumar, along with his police team, recovered 81 bottles of '8 PM' brand English liquor from Birbal Yadav—who was traveling on a motorcycle—near Mahuar village. In connection with this incident, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at the Karnamepur police station under the provisions of the Excise and Prohibition Act. He is reported to be the son of Chandrika Yadav, a resident of Mahuar village within the jurisdiction of the Nainijor police station in Buxar district. Meanwhile, Bahoranpur Station House Officer (SHO) Ajay Kumar recovered 124 bottles of English liquor from the villages of Purushottampur and Lachhu Tola. Acting on a confidential tip-off, SHO Ajay Kumar—accompanied by his police force—recovered 120 bottles (totaling 21.6 liters) of '8 PM' brand English liquor, packed in three cartons, from near the Veer Kunwar Singh Memorial on Purushottampur Road. In a separate incident, SHO Ajay Kumar recovered four bottles (totaling 1.5 liters) of 'Imperial Blue' brand English liquor (375 ml each) from Arjun Yadav near Lachhu Tola village.
