ARA-----------------------------The city police station has achieved a significant breakthrough in its efforts to curb criminal activity in the city. The police team has solved the case of a gold chain snatched from a young man riding a motorcycle and arrested an accused. The bike used in the crime has also been recovered from the arrested youth. The arrested accused, Munna Singh, is the son of Arun Singh, a resident of Dhobha village in the Dhobha police station area.

The incident occurred on February 14th, when Anurag Singh, son of Arjun Singh, a resident of Barka Dumra village in the Mufussil police station area, was returning to his village from Chhotki Singhi. Two young men riding a white and black R15 motorcycle rammed into his bike near a service lane. Before Anurag could react, the pillion rider snatched the gold chain from his neck.

After committing the crime, the two criminals fled the scene on their high-speed bike. The victim, Anurag Singh, tried to chase them, but they managed to escape. Since the driver was wearing a helmet, his identification was not immediately possible.

A written application was filed by the victim, Anurag Singh, at the city police station, and an FIR was registered regarding this incident. Considering the seriousness of the case, the city police began an investigation and, based on technical evidence, arrested the accused, Munna Singh. The police also seized the bike used in the incident from him. The police are now interrogating the arrested accused to obtain information about other members of the gang and other similar incidents.
