OFFICE BEARERS SELECTED VIA LOTTERY

BUXAR------------------------A meeting was held on Tuesday at the office of the Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Avinash Kumar, to select office-bearers and members for the vacant posts of the Shri Rameshwar Nath Mandir Sevashram Trust Committee, Ramrekha Ghat, Buxar. All applicants who had applied for the various positions were invited to the meeting.

The selection process for the posts of Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Committee Members was conducted via a lottery system. This process was carried out in light of the order passed by the Patna High Court on July 23, 2024, in Case No. 17322/2022, and the directives of the Bihar State Religious Trust Board.

According to reports, the Bihar State Religious Trust Board, Patna, had informed the District Magistrate of Buxar via letter no. 207 (dated May 20, 2026) that the rules regarding the formation of a new trust committee were under consideration. Instructions were issued to complete the committee formation process as an interim arrangement in the meantime. Subsequently, based on the Additional Collector (Buxar) letter no. 03-1547/Ra (dated June 3, 2025), the Sub-Divisional Officer was directed to proceed with the formation of the permanent committee.

Among the office-bearers selected via the lottery, Shivaji Chaurasia was chosen as Vice-President, Pawan Kumar as Secretary, and Bhairav ​​Nath Verma as Treasurer.

Additionally, Aradhana Kumari, Abhishek Kumar, Arvind Kumar Chaubey, Nandlal Jaiswal, Shashikala Chaubey, Renu Kumari, and Rupesh Kumar Chaurasia were selected as committee members.

The sub-divisional administration stated that the list of all selected office-bearers and members, along with recommendations, is being forwarded to the Bihar State Religious Trust Board, Patna, through the District Magistrate of Buxar for final approval.
