BHABHUA--------------------------During an anti-narcotics operation on Thursday night, police arrested a minor with 25 packets of heroin in the Stuverganj Bazaar area under the Mohania police station limits. The police have seized the recovered heroin and initiated legal proceedings by registering a case against the minor under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. According to the police, the detained minor is currently being interrogated. The primary objective of the investigation is to identify the source of the heroin supply and the associated trafficking network. The police are attempting to ascertain where the contraband originated and who else is involved in the operation.
The Mohania police station stated that further action against the entire network will be taken based on the facts revealed during the interrogation. A special campaign is continuously underway in the district to curb the drug trade.
