PATNA-------------------------An intriguing image has emerged from the Bihar Legislative Assembly amidst the ongoing Rajya Sabha elections. HAM legislators Deepa Manjhi and Jyoti Manjhi were seen exiting the chamber of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, a sighting that has intensified political speculation.

Voting for five Rajya Sabha seats is currently underway in the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Monday. Meanwhile, a photograph has surfaced from the Assembly premises that has sparked fresh discussions within political circles. This image involves the NDA ally, the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and has begun to raise a multitude of questions.

Specifically, the photograph emerging from the Assembly complex shows Hindustani Awam Morcha's National Patron Jitan Ram Manjhi's daughter-in-law—legislator Deepa Manjhi—and his co-sister-in-law—legislator Jyoti Manjhi—being seen as they exit the chamber of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. Accompanying them in the image is the Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) Rajya Sabha candidate, A.D. Singh.

The appearance of this photograph has triggered various speculations within political circles. This is because the Hindustani Awam Morcha is an ally of the NDA and is currently extending its support to the NDA's candidates in the Rajya Sabha elections. Consequently, the sudden visit of both HAM legislators to Tejashwi Yadav's chamber is raising several pertinent questions.

In fact, the contest for the five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar has become quite intriguing in this election. Given the numerical strength within the Assembly, the vote of every single legislator is considered to be of paramount importance. Particular attention from both the ruling coalition and the opposition is currently focused on the fifth seat. Reports suggest that the NDA requires the support of three additional legislators to secure the fifth seat, whereas the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) faces the primary challenge of keeping its own legislators united.

Against this backdrop, the surfacing of this photograph—featuring two legislators from an NDA ally—has significantly intensified the pace of political discourse. While various discussions regarding this image are circulating within the opposition camp, leaders from the ruling coalition also appear to be offering clarifications on the matter. However, when Assembly sources were approached for information regarding this entire episode, they dismissed it as merely a "mistake." According to these sources, both MLAs were heading inside the Assembly to cast their votes but lacked clear information regarding the location of the polling booth. In the process, they inadvertently ended up in the chamber of the Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav. Later, upon receiving the correct information, they exited the chamber and proceeded toward the polling booth.

Yet, despite this explanation, questions continue to be raised in political circles. Many observers point out that both MLAs are highly experienced and well-versed in the functioning of the Legislative Assembly. Consequently, the claim that they did not know the way to the polling booth is not easily accepted by some. A significant detail further deepening this mystery is the fact that Tejashwi Yadav's name is displayed in large lettering outside his chamber, raising further questions as to how they managed to reach that specific location.

Currently, this photograph has sparked intense speculation and discussion both inside and outside the Assembly. Although officially characterized as a routine occurrence and a simple oversight, the emergence of this image—at a crucial juncture such as the Rajya Sabha elections—has undoubtedly heightened the political temperature. All eyes are now fixed on how the equations for the fifth seat will play out following the voting and the subsequent counting of votes.
