IRAJ YADAV’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED
The first birthday of Iraj Yadav—grandson of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and son of Bihar's Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav—was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm. Iraj was born on May 27th, on the auspicious occasion of 'Bada Mangal' (the first Tuesday of the Hindu month of Jyeshtha). In light of this auspicious coincidence, Lalu Prasad Yadav named his grandson 'Iraj'—one of the names of Lord Hanuman. The entire atmosphere at the venue—the residence of Lalu Yadav's daughter, Ragini Yadav, located in Ghaziabad—was truly enchanting.

DELHI------------------------The first birthday of Iraj Yadav—grandson of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and son of Bihar's Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav—was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm.
The most remarkable aspect of the event was its organization and decor. The entire venue was designed around a 'Jungle Safari' theme; this served not only as a major attraction for the children but also significantly enhanced the aesthetic beauty of the ceremony. From the birthday invitation cards to every corner of the venue, glimpses of this central theme were visible throughout. Special arrangements were made for children's entertainment and games, which doubled the joy of the festivities.
The unity of the Lalu family was clearly evident on this occasion. Tejashwi Yadav's elder brother—and former minister in the Bihar government—Tej Pratap Yadav, also made a special appearance to bless his nephew. Tejashwi Yadav himself appeared completely immersed in the celebrations; he wore a custom shirt inscribed with "Iraj's Father," a gesture reflecting his pride and affection in his role as a father.
From a political perspective, this birthday celebration held significant importance as well. The Lalu family had extended invitations to several senior leaders of the opposition alliance for this special occasion. Prominent stalwarts of the opposition coalition—including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee—graced the event with their presence. Additionally, newly elected Legislative Council member Sonu Rai, along with former MLAs Bhai Dinesh, Manoj Singh, and Deepu Ranawat—who had arrived from the Bhojpur district—extended their love and blessings to Iraj.
Tejashwi Yadav's sisters also played an active role in this family gathering, making significant contributions to the overall management and organization of the event. The sight of all members of the Lalu family appearing together on a single stage—and participating in a family celebration that transcended political differences—made this event even more memorable.
