ARA--------------------------With the objective of ensuring the availability of public amenities and essential commodities within the Shahpur block of the district, the Block-level Crisis Management Team conducted a comprehensive inspection drive on Tuesday. As part of this special campaign, the operations and functioning of various petrol pumps, gas agencies, and prominent restaurants across the region were closely reviewed. Under the leadership of Block Development Officer Shatrunjay Kumar Singh and Block Supply Officer Shambhu Sharan Prasad, a team conducted an operation involving surprise inspections of a total of five petrol pumps, two gas agencies, and three restaurants operating within the block. At the petrol pumps, a detailed examination was conducted regarding current fuel stocks and the volume of fuel uplifted. The primary objective of this exercise was to ensure that no artificial shortage of fuel arises in the market and that complete transparency is maintained in its distribution.

During the inspection of the gas agencies, the team assessed the availability of LPG cylinders and the distribution systems at centers located in Shahpur and Devmalpur. The officials evaluated the facilities available to consumers and directed the agency operators to ensure the timely supply of gas to the general public. Any form of negligence in distribution will not be tolerated.

Additionally, the team also visited three restaurants located in Shahpur and Karnamepur. During the inspections, information regarding various operational aspects was sought from the proprietors, and they were strictly instructed to adhere to prescribed government regulations and safety standards.

Highlighting the significance of this campaign, the officials stated that, as part of crisis management protocols, such monitoring processes will now be conducted on a daily basis. The administration's objective is to strengthen the supply chain for essential commodities and to maintain transparency in service delivery systems, thereby ensuring that ordinary citizens do not face any inconvenience or difficulty in meeting their daily requirements.
