FELLING OF LUSH TREES AT BADI MADHIYA—WHYIS THE ADMINISTRATION SILENT?

Lush trees are being openly felled today at a religious and historical site like Badi Mathiya, Ara. When I asked people present at the scene, they were told that this work was being done with the permission of the DFO. When I spoke with the Religious Trust Board, Patna, they also stated that the felling was done with their permission.

ARA-------------------------Lush trees are being openly felled today at a religious and historical site like Badi Mathiya, Ara. When I asked people present at the scene, they were told that this work was being done with the permission of the DFO. When I spoke with the Religious Trust Board, Patna, they also stated that the felling was done with their permission.

But the question is—Can trees be felled on religious trust land with only verbal permission? Has the written permission, order number, environmental assessment, and compensatory tree planting information been made public?

I also duly informed the CO and DM Bhojpur about this matter, but no action has been taken so far.

Trees are not just wood--they are the essence of faith, the environment, and the breath of future generations. Feeling trees at a religious site is not just an administrative matter, but a constitutional and moral question.

I demand from the administration:

1 Immediate ban on felling

2 Publicize the permissions granted

3 If rules have been violated, action should be taken against those responsible

This post is not against any individual, but in favor of public interest and environmental protection.
