ARA------------------------------The Bihar State Auto Rickshaw Drivers' Union celebrated its 10th Foundation Day with a foundation ceremony held near the Tempo Stand Railway Station. The program was conducted by the union's secretary, Kiran Prasad. Addressing the gathering, CPI(ML) leaders stated that tempo drivers in Ara city were subjected to severe atrocities by the municipal corporation, the city police, and anti-social elements. Tempo drivers were arbitrarily charged illegal tolls throughout the city, and were frequently assaulted by anti-social elements. Police crimes were also rampant. Nine years ago, the Bihar State Auto Rickshaw Drivers' Union was established. Since its inception, the organization has been fighting for the past nine years to uphold the dignity of tempo drivers, fighting against the atrocities of the district administration, police, or criminals. This will continue. Further, CPI(ML) leaders stated that while the Modi government has hit the nation's workers, farmers, students, and youth hard with inflation, employment opportunities are being shut down, and the government seeks to suppress the public's voices against this, handing over all government institutions to Adani and Ambani. Recently, the United States has imposed restrictions on Indian citizens and deployed the US military in our country. The true face of Modi, the 56-inch chest he brought by plane, has brought shame to India's name across the world, and the Modi government is silent on this. The Modi government has opened the entire government treasury for Adani. On the other hand, the struggle to save democracy and the Constitution against Modi's dictatorship is ongoing in this country, and this government wants to stop it through repression, and the people of the country will never tolerate it. The Bihar State E-Rickshaw Tempo Drivers Association actively participated in the national strike on February 12th, demanding the repeal of the four labor code laws and called for its success. Present at the foundation day program were CPI-ML City Secretary Sudhir Kumar, District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam, Amit Kumar Bunty, Raju Khan, Raju Prasad, Chandan Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Shankar Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Paramatma Paswan, Rahul Gandhi, Mohammad Pappu, Ajit Kumar, Ganesh Kumar, Guddu Kumar, Mohammad Rustam, Mohammad Sonu, Arvind Kumar, Bunty. Many people like Kumar, Bhuar Kumar, Mohd. Salim, Mohd. Mani etc. were present.
