ENTIRE FAMILY’S LAND MUTATION WILL BE DONE THROUGH A SINGLE APPLICATION

ARA-------------------------With the aim of making the process of family land division simple, easy, and dispute-free, the state government has taken a major step. From December 27, the new system for land division and mutation has been implemented on the BiharBhumi portal of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. This will now allow the registration of land in the names of all family members, according to their respective shares, through a single application.

This was announced by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Revenue and Land Reforms, Vijay Kumar Sinha, at a press conference held at his residential office on Saturday. He said that under the previous system, after a family land division, each shareholder had to apply for mutation separately for their share of the land, which caused unnecessary difficulties for people. Taking this problem seriously, he had instructed departmental officials to improve the system.
