BIHAR TO GET TWO NEW MEDICAL COLLEGES IN THE NEW YEAR

ARA--------------------------Bihar will receive the gift of two new medical colleges at the beginning of 2026. With this, the number of medical colleges in the state will increase to 15. Currently, 13 medical colleges are operating in 11 districts.

Health department officials said that the medical college and hospital in Mahua, Vaishali, and the Veer Kunwar Singh Medical College and Hospital in Bhojpur, Ara, will begin operations in January. Both these medical colleges will have a capacity of 500 beds each. Their respective costs are Rs 500 crore and Rs 543 crore.
