DEO, BHOJPUR INSPECTS THE FLC WORK FOR UPCOMING BIHAR ASSEMBLY ELECTION 2025
-The Bhojpur District administration is on its leg regarding the preparations for the Bihar Assembly General Election 2025. The District Election Officer (DEO) cum District Magistrate Tanay Sultaniya visited the EVM/VVPAT warehouse at Ara Block road and closely inspected the First Level Checking (FLC) work. Representatives of recognized political parties were present on the occasion as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI). This work started from May 31, 2025 as per the instruction of the ECI.
ARA (RNI) The Bhojpur District administration is on its leg regarding the preparations for the Bihar Assembly General Election 2025. The District Election Officer (DEO) cum District Magistrate Tanay Sultaniya visited the EVM/VVPAT warehouse at Ara Block road and closely inspected the First Level Checking (FLC) work. Representatvies of recognized political parties were present on the occasion as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI). This work started from May 31, 2025 as per the instruction of the ECI.
As per the information received from the district administration, the FLCwork hs been started from May 31, 2022 and has been targeted to be completed by June 18,2025. This work is being done in accordance with the standards and process set by the ECI so that the use of Electronic Votin Machine (EVM) and the Voter Verifiable Voting Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) can be ensued with complete transparency and reliabilityin the upcoming Assembly elections.
Besides the DEO cum DM, Additional Collector cum District Public Grievance Redresaal Officer Bhojpur, Deputy Election Officer, Bhojpur, Nodal Officer EVM Cell cum District Panchayat Raj Officer Bhojpur, In-charge Officer EVM Warehouse, Sub Election Officer and other related technical experts and staffs were present.
DM Tanay Sultaniya directed all the concerned officers that the FLC process should be completed with complete transparency, fairness and as per the guidelines of the ECI. He also asked to ensure that the technical personnel involved in the FLC process are trained and each machine is checked as per the prescribed standards. He said that every machine should be checked thoroughly and if any fault if found, it should be replaced immediately and the commission should be informed and representatives of political parties should also be made a part of the process at every level so that everyone has faith in the election process.
During the inspection, representatives of Congress, BJP, RJD, JDU, and other recognized political parties were also present. They expressed satisfaction over the FLC process and requested the administration to keep giving them regular information at all stages.
