CPI-ML HELD PROTEST MARCH

5-JULY-ENG 5

RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA---------------------------As part of the CPI(ML)'s state-wide 'Day of Protest' against the 'encounter', 'bulldozer', and mob-lynching policies of the government in Bihar, the party organized a march starting from its district office at Shritola, Ara. The procession passed through various parts of the city and culminated in a public meeting at the Ara railway station premises. Subsequently, CPI(ML) activists burned an effigy of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. Addressing the gathering, CPI(ML) leaders stated that the ruling dispensation seeks to govern Bihar through mob lynching, staged encounters, and the use of bulldozers. They further asserted that the BJP government in power is openly undermining the Constitution, democracy, and the rule of law—both nationally and within the state—posing a threat to ordinary citizens. Since the formation of the new BJP government in Bihar, the 'bulldozer' has wreaked havoc on Dalits and the poor, creating an atmosphere of terror across the state. The leaders vowed to organize Dalits and the poor to launch a militant movement against these tactics and force the 'bulldozer government' to retreat. The protest march saw the participation of numerous individuals, including City Secretary Sudhir Singh, AIPWA City Secretary Sangeeta Singh, District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam, Amit Bunty, Balmukund Chaudhary, Rajendra Yadav, Vikas Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Neetu Kumari, Muskan Kumari, Varsha Kumari, Hanshika Ojha, Sagar Paswan, Harinath Ram, Randhir Kumar Rana, Santvilas Ram, Ritesh Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Vikas Raja, Sahil Arora, Chandan Das, and Harinarayan Gupta.

The proceedings were conducted by District Committee member Roshan Kushwaha.
