ARA--------------------------A young man was seriously injured in celebratory firing during a birthday party in Sambhal Tola village, under the Piro police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. In the ceremony held late Monday night, Akhilesh Kumar Yadav (29 years old), a resident of Sambhal Tola village, was shot in the left side of his chest during celebratory firing by a man under the influence of alcohol. He was immediately taken from Piro Primary Health Center to Sadar Hospital Ara, from where he was referred to Patna for better treatment. This unexpected incident suddenly turned the joyous atmosphere into silence, and a stampede ensued among those present.

Upon receiving the information, Piro Station House Officer Deepak Kumar Sah reached the spot with his team and, taking swift action, arrested the accused youth. According to the information, the injured man is Akhilesh Kumar Yadav, the 29-year-old son of Hari Singh Yadav, a resident of Ward No. 1, Sambhal Tola village, under the Piro police station area, who was shot at his nephew's birthday party. The arrested accused is Lalbabu Singh, son of Ramdev Singh, a resident of Laharabad village, under the Piro police station area.

Meanwhile, the injured Akhilesh Kumar Yadav stated that his cousin sister's 3-year-old son, Lavkush Kumar, was having his birthday party at his maternal grandparents' house in Sambhal Tola village. A dance program was organized at the birthday party. Late Monday night, while the program was going on and everyone was watching the dance, a young man who was present there fired shots in a celebratory manner while intoxicated. During this, he was shot, leaving him seriously injured.

According to the information received, the injured Akhilesh Kumar Yadav is the cousin of the birthday boy, Lavkush Kumar, while the accused Lalbabu Singh is the child's paternal uncle. The police are taking further legal action in this matter. Piro Station House Officer Deepak Kumar Sah said that a named FIR has been registered against Lalbabu Singh, son of Rajdev Singh, a resident of Laharabad village, under the Piro police station area, based on the statement of the injured youth. After registering the FIR, the accused Lalbabu Singh was arrested through swift action.
