COMPLAINT AGAINST IRREGULARITIES IN CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BRIDGE

BUXAR-----------------------------A delegation led by Deepak Yadav, State Co-convenor of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (Bihar), met Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Rakesh Kumar on Thursday and submitted a detailed complaint regarding the quality and potential irregularities in the construction of the new bridge over the Sone Canal near the Dumraon Sub-divisional office.

The delegation informed the SDO that if the bridge is not constructed in accordance with prescribed technical standards and quality materials, it could lead to a serious accident in the future. They demanded an impartial technical inquiry into the construction work, citing public interest and the safety of citizens.

Recognizing the gravity of the matter, SDO Rakesh Kumar took immediate cognizance and directed the Executive Engineer of the Rural Works Department (RWD) to inspect the construction site, verify the quality, and take necessary action.

Expressing gratitude for the SDO's prompt action, Deepak Yadav stated that no compromise on quality would be accepted in development projects concerning the public interest. He emphasized that the bridge must be constructed with complete transparency and in adherence to set standards to ensure safe and durable infrastructure for the general public.

The delegation also included young social activists Ajay Rai, Amit Pathak, and Shubham Kumar Rai.
