CANCER AWARENESS INISIATIVE IN RURAL AREAS

PATNA-----------------------With the aim of increasing cancer awareness and providing timely diagnosis and treatment facilities in rural areas, Dr. Prabhat Ranjan Diagnostic and Research Center has launched a comprehensive campaign. As part of this initiative, a special center for rural women and men has been inaugurated in Lakhisarai district.

The program was attended by the district's program officer and leading doctors. On this occasion, Dr. Prabhat Ranjan and his wife, Dr. Roopam Ranjan, explained that this initiative has been launched under the Rural Pathology Service so that people from rural areas do not have to travel to Patna for tests. Samples will be collected at the center itself, and the necessary tests will be conducted, and further treatment procedures will be facilitated from there.

Dr. Prabhat Ranjan said that cancer is a disease that can be completely controlled if detected and treated in time. This is why expanding testing facilities in rural areas is extremely important.

Dr. Praveen, Dr. Manish, Dr. Sanjeev, Dr. Dilip, Dr. Haripriya, Dr. Sanjay, Dr. Abhinav Anand, Dr. Sudhanshu, and Dr. Alok were also present on this occasion. This initiative is considered a significant step towards strengthening the rural health infrastructure, which will enable timely awareness and treatment against serious diseases like cancer.
