AIR FORCE STEPS IN TO PREVENT PAPER LEAKS

SASARAM-------------------------Security arrangements for the exam have reached an unprecedented level this time. Following the previous paper leak controversy, the government is unwilling to take any risks. Consequently, the responsibility for the security and transportation of question papers for the re-examination scheduled for June 21 has been entrusted to the Indian Air Force. Reports indicate that question papers will be transported via helicopters to various parts of the country to completely eliminate any possibility of leaks, tampering, or irregularities during transit. NEET-UG is the country's largest medical entrance examination, involving lakhs of students. This year, the exam had to be cancelled due to allegations of paper leaks, which raised questions about the credibility of the examination system. Now, the government has implemented several new security measures to ensure the re-examination is completely secure and transparent. Entrusting the Indian Air Force with the responsibility of securely transporting the question papers is considered the most significant of these steps. According to media reports, the Indian Air Force will utilize Mi-17 helicopters and other air assets to safely deliver the question papers to examination centers. Helicopters will be used specifically for areas where road transport is time-consuming or poses security challenges. The objective is to ensure that the question papers reach the examination centers on time and with complete confidentiality.
