24 ARRESTED FOR DISCO DANCING WITH GUNS

ARA----------------------------The police of Gajrajganj police station in Bhojpur have taken major action in a case of celebratory firing during a child's naming ceremony. The police raided Barka village in the area and arrested 24 people for celebratory firing and dancing with guns while intoxicated during the naming ceremony. All of them were arrested on Wednesday night during a dance program organized at the house of Hareram Yadav, a resident of Barka village. All are relatives, friends, and acquaintances. One pistol and three spent cartridges were recovered from the spot. After the investigation confirmed that all the arrested accused had consumed alcohol, they were all sent to jail. This information was given by Superintendent of Police Raj during a press conference on Thursday.

The arrested accused include Harendra Yadav and Hareram Kumar Yadav, residents of Barka village, Akhtaripur village; Kundan Kumar, a resident of Barka Dumra village under Mufassil police station area; Sumit Kumar, Mahant Yadav, and Kaushik, residents of Dulapur village; Dhanoj Kumar Yadav and Nitesh Kumar, residents of Dulapur village; Amardeep Yadav, a resident of Ratanpur village; Ankush Yadav, Abhiraj Kumar, Suraj Yadav alias Vishal Yadav, Teju Yadav, and Piyush Kumar, residents of Chandwa under Nawada police station area; Ravi Kumar, a resident of Saraiya under Krishnagarh police station area; Mithilesh Kumar and Rishikesh Kumar, residents of Itahana village; Manoj Kumar Yadav and Pankaj Kumar Singh, residents of Gaziapur village; Dharmveer Yadav, a resident of Gundi village; Ram Kumar and Pintu Kumar Yadav, residents of Teghra village under Bihiya police station area; Nishant Kumar Singh, a resident of Dumaria village; Arun Kumar, a resident of Hematpur village under Dhobaha police station area; and Pradyum Kumar, a resident of Lahkhodia Chowk under Bihta police station area in Patna district. In this regard, an FIR has been registered against 26 people, including Hareram Yadav, on the statement of Vipin Raut. The raiding team included Station House Officer Chanchal Mahtha, Sub-Inspectors Rupesh Kumar and Soni Kumari, ASI Narendra Kumar, Panchanan Paswan, Manish Kumar Singh, and Prakash Tanti, along with other police personnel.
