TO ESTABLISH A SAINIK SCHOOL AND A GIRLS’ HOSTEL

ARA-------------------------Significant steps have been taken regarding ambitious schemes of the Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department in the Sandesh and Koilwar blocks of Bhojpur district. Rama Nishad, a Minister in the Bihar Government, has informed Raghavaran Sah, the MLA from the Sandesh Assembly constituency, about this development via a letter.

According to the letter, and in response to a request submitted by the MLA on July 22, 2026, the process for approving the construction of a Sainik School (on a PPP model) in the Sandesh block and a 100-seat 'Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Girls' Hostel' in the Koilwar block has been initiated.

The Minister stated that a letter was sent to the District Magistrate of Bhojpur on July 23, 2026, instructing them to select suitable land for both projects and to arrange for the necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs). Further action regarding the construction work will be taken once the land selection and NOC processes are completed.

The realization of these two projects is expected to significantly strengthen educational and hostel facilities in Bhojpur district, thereby benefiting students belonging to the backward and extremely backward classes in particular.
