SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTMI CELEBRATED AT BADI MATHIA

ARA--------------------------The grand Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival was celebrated with immense joy and splendor at the city's renowned Sri Hanuman Mandir, Badi Mathiya. The dignified presence of Mahant Sri Ayodhyanath Swami Ji—the chief disciple of the revered Jeeyar Swami Ji Maharaj—was a major highlight of this auspicious occasion.

A magnificent *Kirtan-Bhajan* (devotional music) session was organized during the event, filling the temple premises with a spirit of devotion and resounding chants of "Jai Sri Krishna." From the early hours of the morning, a steady stream of thousands of devotees arrived to seek blessings and worship Lord Sri Krishna.

Addressing the devotees during the festival, Mahant Ayodhyanath Swami Ji said, "The life of Lord Sri Krishna inspires us to uphold righteousness over unrighteousness and to perform selfless action (*Nishkama Karma*). In today's era, embodying the teachings of the *Shrimad Bhagavad Gita* in our lives constitutes true devotion. True divine grace is attained only when an individual sets aside selfishness and works for the welfare of society and *Dharma*."

The temple committee members played a commendable role in the successful conduct and management of the event. Office-bearers and volunteers made exceptional contributions to ensuring smooth arrangements, security, and the distribution of *Mahaprasad*, earning high praise from the visiting devotees. The Janmashtami celebrations concluded with a grand *Aarti* and the distribution of *Mahaprasad*.
