BHABHUA-------------------------Sanjay Agarwal assumed office as the new Principal District and Sessions Judge at the Civil Court on Tuesday. He took over the charge from the outgoing Principal District and Sessions Judge, Deepak Kumar. Upon assuming office, Sanjay Agarwal also took on the responsibility of Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority. Judicial officers and court staff welcomed him as he took charge. Discussions were also held regarding court operations, pending cases, and various aspects of the judicial system. He stated that the timely disposal of cases, providing accessible and speedy justice to the general public, and making the judicial process effective would be his priorities. He emphasized the need to work in coordination with judicial officers and staff. Meanwhile, judicial officers and staff appreciated the tenure of the outgoing District and Sessions Judge, Deepak Kumar, recalling the efforts made during his term to improve the judicial system and provide facilities to litigants.
