SASARAM----------------------------While Janmashtami is usually an occasion for celebration—where people dress their young children as Lord Krishna and Radha and share photos on social media—a tragic incident has emerged from the Kochas block of Rohtas district. Due to a minor lapse in supervision by the family, an innocent child dressed as Krishna lost his life. It is reported that on the occasion of Janmashtami, the family of Aryan Yadav—son of Vimlesh Yadav, a resident of Bhagiratha village—had dressed him up as Lord Krishna. During the festivities, the child swallowed a string of beads he was wearing around his neck. When he began experiencing breathing difficulties, his family rushed him to the Kochas Community Health Center for treatment. Upon examination, doctors discovered that the string of beads was lodged in his windpipe.
According to Dr. Ajit Kumar, a bead from the necklace got stuck in the child's windpipe, resulting in his death. The incident has left the family devastated, and the relatives are inconsolable. The atmosphere in the household, initially filled with the joy of Janmashtami, turned into one of mourning in a matter of moments. This incident has also drawn attention to the need for caution regarding small objects when dressing up children.-
