ARA--------------------------In the Bihiya police station area of Bhojpur district, bike-borne miscreants targeted an LIC agent, snatching his mobile phone and a bag containing approximately 65,000 rupees. In addition to the money collected from clients, the bag also contained LIC receipts. The incident occurred on Sunday night, around 9:30 PM, near Bhadasara village on the Bihiya-Tiyar road.
According to Arun Kumar Mishra, an LIC agent and resident of Mahuaon village, he was returning home on his motorcycle after collecting payments from clients—a part of his daily routine. During the journey, some miscreants on a motorcycle called out to him, addressing him as "uncle," and forced him to stop. As soon as he stopped, the miscreants lunged at him, snatched his mobile phone and the bag, and fled the scene.
The victim stated that the miscreants had covered their faces with *gamchas* (traditional scarves/cloths), making it impossible to identify them. Following the incident, he filed a formal complaint at the Bihiya police station, requesting an investigation, the identification of the perpetrators, and the recovery of the stolen items.
