FOUR DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED

ARA-------------------------The Sahar police have achieved success during an ongoing campaign to seize narcotics. In this operation, the Sahar police arrested four smugglers traveling in a car near the Sahar check post with contraband. A search of the vehicle yielded 50 grams of heroin and five mobile phones; the car itself was also seized.

According to reports, the arrested individuals include Rahul Yadav (son of Kamlesh Yadav from Dumariya village, Shahpur police station area), Rinshu Pandey (son of Jitendra Pandey from Kundeshwar village, same area), Ravi Shankar (son of Shiv Shankar Yadav from Mahuar village, Karnamepur police station area), and Vikas Verma (son of the late Mohan Sonar from the same village). Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit provided these details in a press release.

He stated that the Sahar police were conducting vehicle checks at the Sahar check post on Thursday evening. Upon spotting the police, the four occupants of a car attempted to turn around and flee but were apprehended with the assistance of the armed force. A search of their vehicle resulted in the recovery of 50 grams of heroin and five mobile phones. Subsequently, the police registered an FIR against all four individuals under the NDPS Act at the Sahar police station.

During interrogation, the suspects revealed that they were transporting the heroin from Shahpur and were scheduled to deliver it in Arwal. The police are currently investigating their network connections.
