ARA----------------------------A four-day Rakhi-making workshop was inaugurated on Thursday at the Jubilee Hall of 'Shanti Smriti' Sambhavna Residential High School, located in Shubh Narayan Nagar, Majhauwa. The workshop was jointly inaugurated by the school's Managing Director, Dr. Kumar Dwijendra, and Principal, Dr. Archana Singh. The proceedings were conducted by Art Teacher Sanjeev Sinha. Students from classes 6 to 12 participated in the Rakhi-making workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, the school's Managing Director, Dr. Kumar Dwijendra, stated that the Rakhi-making workshop would continue until August 24. An exhibition of the Rakhis crafted by the children will be held on the school premises on August 25. The best *rakhis* from the collection will be selected and sent to soldier brothers. An award distribution ceremony will follow the exhibition, where children who created the finest *rakhis* will be honored with prizes.
Principal Dr. Archana Singh remarked that while sisters usually buy *rakhis* for Raksha Bandhan, those crafted by hand embody affection, love, and artistry. The *rakhis* made here will be tied onto the students' brothers, and the best among them will be selected to be sent to soldiers stationed at the nation's borders. Through these *rakhis*, we convey our best wishes for the health and longevity of our soldier brothers. Art teacher Vishnu Shankar delivered the vote of thanks.
