FIR AGAINST A YOUTH LIVING IN RUSSIA

PATNA----------------------------Queer are the ways of the Bihar police who lodged a named FIR against a youth living in Russia at present in the NEET protest.

Mohammad Sadaqat, a resident of Bahadurganj in Kishanganj district, has been in Russia for the past four months. Yet, the police have registered a case against him regarding the disturbances in Bahadurganj.

A bizarre action by the Bihar Police has come to light. They have registered a case against Mohammad Sadaqat—a resident of Kishanganj who claims to have been in Russia for four months—in connection with the NEET protest. The FIR was filed regarding the demonstration held in Bahadurganj, Kishanganj.

Mohammad Sadaqat, a native of Bahadurganj, Kishanganj district, released a video from Russia via social media, questioning the case filed against him. He claims he was not present at the scene during the protest against the NEET paper leak in Bahadurganj; despite this, he has been named as an accused.

In his message, Mohammad Sadaqat stated that he was abroad at the time of the incident and played no role in the protest. He has demanded an impartial investigation into the matter and urged a review of the FIR.

When asked about this, In-charge SP Harimohan Shukla stated that he was aware of the matter. He added that court orders are being followed, and the case would be dropped accordingly.

AIMIM MLA Tausif Alam demanded an explanation from the administration. He remarked that outsiders caused the trouble and left, while local residents were named in the FIR. He called it a completely false FIR. Commenting on the case against the Bahadurganj youth living in Russia, he condemned the action and expressed his protest, stating that including the names of people living abroad in an FIR raises questions about the administration's functioning.

Imran Alam, a Zila Parishad member from Bahadurganj, expressed regret over the police's negligence regarding the recent disturbances in the area. In this, names of people from my constituency were included who are not even in Kishanganj.
