BHABHUA---------------------------A case of fraud involving gold and silver jewelry worth approximately ₹9 lakh has come to light in Stuvarganj (Ward 07) under the Mohania police station area. The accused had swindled the valuables by promising to perform a *Havan* (ritual fire ceremony), cure a woman's relative, and resolve problems through occult rituals (*tantra-mantra*). Acting swiftly, the police arrested the father and son involved. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ishwar Dayal Yadav (son of the late Dharm Yadav) and his son Arjun Kumar Yadav, residents of Chhevri village under the Ramgarh police station area. According to the police, a *Mangalsutra* and the mobile phone used for communication during the incident have been recovered from the accused. The police are interrogating both individuals to gather information regarding other accomplices and the remaining swindled jewelry. Further investigation and legal proceedings are currently in progress.
