BUXAR------------------------Demanding the early operationalization of the Buxar-Itarhi East railway crossing, Santosh Kumar Nirala, MLA from the Rajpur Assembly constituency, visited the East Central Railway (ECR) headquarters in Hajipur on Tuesday and met the General Manager in his office. During the meeting, the MLA apprised the General Manager of the problems arising from the railway crossing remaining closed for an extended period.

The MLA explained that the closure of the crossing is causing significant commuting difficulties for the general public, working professionals, and especially school children. With the festive season approaching, traffic in the area is expected to increase; therefore, it is crucial to make the crossing operational as soon as possible.

During the meeting, the General Manager acknowledged the seriousness of the matter and discussed the necessary technical and administrative aspects. He also assured that efforts would be expedited by establishing better coordination between the railway administration and the district administration.

MLA Santosh Kumar Nirala stated that efforts regarding this issue would continue at all necessary levels, keeping in mind the convenience and safe commute of the local residents. He expressed hope that the coordinated efforts of the concerned departments would soon lead to a permanent solution to the railway crossing issue, providing relief to the public in their daily commute.
