During the event, the staff voiced their opposition to the proposed Act by raising slogans against the government.

BUXAR--------------------------Following the directives of the 'Bihar State University and College Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Struggle Front' (Sangharsh Morcha) and as part of a phased agitation, teachers and non-teaching staff staged a protest on Tuesday at the Maharshi Vishwamitra College campus against the Bihar government's proposed University Act 2026. During the event, the staff voiced their opposition to the proposed Act by raising slogans against the government.
College Teachers' Association Secretary Dr. Yogarshi Rajput, along with all the college teachers, participated in the protest. Simultaneously, all non-teaching staff members took part in the agitation under the leadership of Shanti Kumari Devi, Secretary of the Non-Teaching Staff Association.
During the event, teachers and staff expressed their objections regarding the proposed University Act 2026 and appealed to the government to seriously consider their demands. It was announced that the agitation would continue in a phased manner, in accordance with the instructions of the Struggle Front.
A sense of unity among the teachers and non-teaching staff was evident on the college campus during the program. The participating personnel stated that, following the Struggle Front's directives, protest activities regarding issues affecting their interests would continue in the future.
