CONGRESS HOLDS PROTEST MARCH OVER THEFT AT RAM TEMPLE

SASARAM-------------------------Under the aegis of the District Congress Committee, a protest march was organized on Tuesday regarding the theft of donations meant for the Ram Mandir—the most significant temple of the Sanatan Dharma. Presiding over the march, District Congress President Jayaprakash Pandey stated that crores of people across the country hold faith in Lord Shri Ramchandra and donate their hard-earned money with devotion; the theft of donations from His temple and abode is extremely unfortunate, and the fact that the Prime Minister has remained silent on the matter is even more regrettable. We demand Action must be taken as soon as possible against everyone involved in this matter. The BJP has remained silent on this issue so far, and the people of the country understand the situation well. However, the Congress party—which believes in taking all castes and religions along—cannot tolerate such a gross violation of the faith associated with Hinduism. The Congress party will continue to protest until appropriate action is taken against the guilty parties involved in this matter. We have no hesitation in stating that individuals associated with the BJP are directly or indirectly linked to this issue. Furthermore, we condemn the manner in which this authoritarian government ordered a lathi-charge against students and youths yesterday. We also demand the resignation of the government's Education Minister, Dharmendra Mishra, over the paper leak issue. Key figures present at this protest included Mukti Narayan Mishra, Ajay Chaubey, Rinku Bind, Patanjali Mishra, Virendra Kushwaha, Deepak Shukla, Vijay Singh, Taufiq Ahmed Makrani, Chandrama Pandey, Johar Ali Bakshi, B.D. Shukla, Sunil Tiwari, Saurabh Kushwaha, Pritam Raj Bunty, Dhananjay Mehta, Tejpatta Ram, Rupesh Chaubey, Mohammad Hasan Khan, Mohammad Nasruddin, Lukman Ahmed, Attaullah Rahman, and Rajendra Prabhakar, along with hundreds of other party workers who participated in the march.
