ARA------------------------The body of an unidentified young man, estimated to be around 22 years old, was found by the roadside near Shubhkaranganj village on the Gangi-Gundi road—falling under the Mufassil police station area adjacent to the city—on Thursday morning. The discovery of the body caused a stir in the surrounding area.

Upon receiving information from locals, the Mufassil police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. The police also summoned an FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team to the site; team members collected necessary evidence from the location.

The police took possession of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination. According to the death inquest report prepared by the police, the preliminary suspicion is that the young man died due to an illness. However, the actual cause of death will only become clear after the post-mortem report is received.

Sadar SDPO-1 Sushil Kumar stated that the Mufassil police received information on Thursday morning about an unidentified young man's body lying by the roadside near Daulatpur and Shubhkaranganj villages. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and had evidence collected by the FSL team.

He mentioned that no external injury marks were found on the deceased's body. The police are investigating the matter while considering all other aspects.

At the time of writing this report, the deceased had not yet been identified. The police are questioning local residents to establish his identity and are also attempting to identify him based on his physical description and other available information.

The police state that the situation regarding the cause of death will only become fully clear once the post-mortem report and the findings of the FSL investigation are available.
