ARA---------------------------The high-profile murder case of Bharat Tiwari in Bihar has not only caused a stir within administrative circles but has also raised serious questions regarding the credibility of law and order. Supreme Court Advocate Sanjeev Kumar Singh held a significant press conference to unravel the details of the case. He asserted that Bharat Tiwari’s murder was not merely a crime but a premeditated conspiracy to suppress a massive ₹1,400 crore scam that Tiwari himself was exposing.

Advocate Sanjeev Kumar Singh stated that he has been handling the legal aspects of the case from the very beginning. Despite the registration of FIR No. 178/2026, only one accused—Akshay Kumar—has been arrested so far, even after a considerable lapse of time. It was only after he approached the President's office that an internal inquiry was ordered by the Chief Secretary and Police Headquarters, conducted by the Divisional Commissioner of Patna. The facts that emerged from this inquiry are truly shocking.

According to the inquiry report, the murder of Bharat Tiwari on June 17 was meticulously planned. Concrete evidence has been found indicating the involvement of everyone from high-ranking police officials and local politicians with criminal backgrounds to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). The advocate noted that the post-mortem report and ballistic tests have fully exposed the conspiracy. The ballistic report confirmed that shots were fired from the weapons of all the individuals present at the scene. Furthermore, the post-mortem report revealed that Bharat Tiwari was initially shot three times; while he was still alive, he was taken into a vehicle where two additional shots were fired—15 minutes later—to destroy evidence and ensure his death. This level of brutality clearly places the case in the "rarest of rare" category. The advocate stated that the primary motive behind this murder was a ₹1,400 crore scam involving funds allocated for the welfare of displaced persons from Javaniya village. When Bharat Tiwari dared to expose this scam, the perpetrators hatched a conspiracy by misusing the police and administrative machinery. The plot was set in motion as early as the 16th—the day before the incident occurred. Misleading the Patna STF by sending them false reports serves as further evidence of the officials' collusion.

Regarding legal proceedings, Advocate Sanjeev Kumar Singh mentioned that the process at the Ara Court has been expedited. Steps have been initiated to secure non-bailable warrants against the named accused. Simultaneously, legal measures are being taken to arrest and dismiss from service those officials and conspirators who, despite not being named in the FIR, were the masterminds behind the scam and the murder.

The advocate emphasized that the loss suffered by Bharat Tiwari's family is irreparable and that certain elements are attempting to derail the case by spreading misinformation in the media. However, the sole objective remains securing justice for the victim's family and ensuring the culprits receive the death penalty. He cited legal precedents—such as *Bachchan Singh v. State of Punjab*, the Chopra children murder case, *Ranveer Singh v. State of Uttarakhand*, *Kehar Singh v. State of Punjab*, *Kartar Singh v. State of Rajasthan*, and *Dhananjay Chatterjee v. State of West Bengal*—which fall under the "rarest of rare" category. He noted the Supreme Court's observation regarding individuals in positions of public trust—such as police personnel, whose duty is to protect. The advocate remarked that when the protector turns predator, the demand for justice becomes even more critical.

The advocate stated that the documentary evidence, digital proofs, and CDR reports currently submitted to the offices of the Chief Secretary and the Divisional Commissioner form the foundation of this case. This evidence is sufficient to prove that this was not merely a murder, but a heinous crime committed under the patronage of power and corruption. Advocate Sanjeev Kumar Singh stated that the legal battle in this case would continue until the killers of the martyred Bharat Tiwari face the gallows and the full truth of the scam is revealed to the nation.
