SASARAM--------------------------When a young man raised in the soil of a village steps into the wrestling arena, he carries not just his passion, but also the hopes and dreams of his family. Anshuman Tiwari, a resident of Manoharpur village in the Dinara block of Rohtas district, has proven through his stellar performance in the wrestling arena—winning a national-level gold medal—that a lack of resources pales in comparison to determination and hard work. Now, this young wrestler is preparing to showcase his talent on the international stage. Anshuman will represent India and Bihar at the World Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held in Thailand next month.

Competing on behalf of Bihar at the national championship, Anshuman delivered outstanding performances in match after match. Amidst tough contests, he defeated his opponents to clinch the gold medal. As soon as the news of his success reached the village, a wave of joy swept through Manoharpur.

According to Anshuman's uncle, Buchul Tiwari, Anshuman has always been deeply dedicated to wrestling. Despite limited resources, he made regular practice and hard work an integral part of his daily routine. Winning gold at the national level is the result of this long struggle and dedication. Anshuman's grandfather, the late Hariji Tiwari, was a former headmaster of Suryapura High School.

Anshuman's father, the late Akhileshwar Tiwari, is no longer alive. The family faced numerous hardships following his father's passing, yet Anshuman refused to bow down to circumstances. He turned his goal into his strength and persevered with his hard work.

Anshuman's mother, Aarti Tiwari, kept her son's spirits high during those difficult times. Today, pride shines on her face at her son's success. Following his national-level gold medal win, the family is hopeful that Anshuman will replicate this success on the international stage.

Anshuman's achievement is not merely a source of joy for his family but a matter of pride for Manoharpur and the entire state of Bihar. Rising from a rural background to win a gold medal at the national level, his selection for the upcoming World Wrestling Championship in Thailand is a testament to his growing stature.

Through his success, Anshuman has sent a message to other youths in his village: if one has a clear goal and maintains consistent hard work, it is possible to journey from a humble village path to the global stage.

All eyes are now on Thailand. After flying the Tricolour high in the national wrestling arena, Anshuman is set to step into the international arena. His family, village, and the state of Bihar are hopeful that he will continue his stellar performance there and secure a major medal for the country.
