YOUNG GIRL COMMITS SUICIDE IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA-------------------------One young girl committed suicide by hanging herself to a latch of the roof in her house at Lalganj village under Ayar police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as a student of Class X, Khushi Kumari 21 daughter of Buchan Giri of Lalganj village. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ayar police station in the regard and police are investigating the matter.

Govind Giri brother of the deceased said that Khushi Kumari had retired to her room at Lalganj village after taking meal at about 7pm and when her mother went to wake her up in the morning, the door of her room was closed. She knocked the door but no one replied. She peeped through the window of the room and found her body hanging to the latch. She raised an alarm. Hearing her cry, the family members rushed to the spot and broke into the room. They took down the body and informed the police. On information, the police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
