BHABHUA-------------------------A woman died in a tragic accident on Friday morning in Jhali village, located within the Karamchat police station area of ​​the Rampur block in this district. Following the incident, an atmosphere of mourning has enveloped the entire village. The deceased has been identified as Reena Devi, a 38-year-old resident of Jhali village and the wife of Bahadur Ram. According to reports, Reena Devi was engaged in household chores on Friday morning. During this time, she climbed up a bamboo ladder to unload cow-dung cakes. It is reported that the ladder suddenly lost its balance and slipped. As the ladder gave way, Reena Devi lost control, fell to the ground, and struck an iron hand pump situated near the house.

The impact was so severe that she sustained critical injuries to her head and other parts of her body, and she fell unconscious on the spot. Immediately after the accident occurred, family members and nearby villagers rushed to the scene. In a frantic effort to save her, the injured woman was hurriedly taken to the Rampur hospital for treatment. There, observing her critical condition, doctors administered first aid and referred her to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for advanced medical care. Her relatives immediately transported her to the Sadar Hospital, where the on-duty physician, Dr. Sitesh Raj, declared Reena Devi dead following an examination. The news of the woman's death plunged the family into utter devastation. Her relatives are inconsolable with grief. Villagers described Reena Devi as a sociable woman by nature who admirably fulfilled her family responsibilities. This sudden and tragic accident has cast a pall of sorrow over the entire village. Meanwhile, the local police have been informed of the incident and are currently gathering details regarding the case. Additionally, villagers have appealed to the administration to provide assistance to the bereaved family.
