HEALTH CAMP FOR TRANSGENDERS

BHABHUA---------------------------In accordance with Letter No. 908 issued by the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, Patna, the District Legal Services Authority organized a health camp at the ADR Building. The program was presided over by the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Lalan Kumar Rajak. The Secretary informed the gathering that the 'Sitara Week' initiative is being observed from May 4, 2026, to May 8, 2026. In line with this initiative, health check-ups were conducted for all transgender individuals today, and free medicines were provided to them.

During the event, the key objectives of the 'Sitara Scheme'—specifically rural empowerment and various public welfare schemes—were highlighted. The program was coordinated by the voluntary organization 'Sachin Savera' (represented by Mohan Kumar). Present on this occasion were officials from the Health Department, including Block Health Manager Vivek Kumar, ANM Madhubala, and other staff members.
