BHABHUA-------------------------An incident of assault has been reported from Fakhrabad Ward No. 9, under the jurisdiction of the Kudra police station, stemming from a dispute over soil being dumped on a pathway and at a doorway. A woman suffered a head injury (her head was split open) in the incident, and her sister also sustained injuries. The victim has submitted a formal complaint to the Kudra police station, demanding action against several individuals.

The victim, Lakshmi Kumari, stated that soil had been dumped in front of her doorway, causing obstruction to movement. Following this issue, the Panchayat head and Sarpanch visited the site and promised that the soil would be removed within approximately 15 days; however, the soil remained in place even after the deadline had passed.

According to Lakshmi Kumari, she subsequently lodged a complaint online with the Kudra police station. Although the police visited the site after receiving the complaint, the soil was still not removed. She alleges that ever since she filed the complaint, individuals from the accused party have been visiting her doorstep morning and evening to hurl abuses and exert constant pressure on her.

The victim states that on Sunday evening, between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Bhola Paswan, Jadeja Paswan, Lal Babu Paswan, and some unidentified persons arrived at her home and assaulted her. During the incident, attempts were also made to molest her. She sustained a head injury in the assault, and her sister was also injured.

Lakshmi Kumari further alleges that the accused party has blocked the path used by her family and frequently threatens to implicate them in false cases under the SC/ST Act. She has demanded that the police administration conduct an impartial investigation and take strict legal action against the guilty parties.

Meanwhile, the Kudra police have stated that an investigation is underway based on the complaint filed by the victim. Further legal action will be taken in accordance with the facts that emerge during the investigation.
