WITH CRACKING DOWN ON LIQUOR SMUGGLING, THE MAFIAS MUST BE EXPOSED: BHAI DINESH

ARA----------------------------The seizure of three or four trucks of liquor by the police in the Jagdishpur, Bihiya, and Shahpur areas within the last one or two months is a good and commendable action. This makes it clear that if the administration is willing, the illegal trade can be curbed.

But it is also crucial that the administration not only limit itself to seizing liquor, but also expose the entire illegal network.

When such large quantities of liquor are being seized, the question naturally arises: who are the liquor mafias in the Jagdishpur, Bihiya, and Shahpur areas who are importing and selling liquor on such a large scale.

I demand from the administration that it also be made clear to the public who these liquor mafias are associated with, who is protecting them, and through what means this illegal trade is being carried out. If this entire network is not exposed, simply seizing trucks will not provide a permanent solution to the problem.

It is also a matter of investigation to determine how many people have received home delivery of alcohol so far and who all are involved in this illegal trade. These mafias, who are ruining society and youth, should be identified and strict action should be taken against them.

I believe that if the administration takes honest action and makes public the entire network of liquor mafias, it will send a positive message to society and effectively curb the illegal trade. Conscious members of society should also come forward and speak out against this social evil.
